References to mailing-list and permissions:

With the subsequent references we inform you about the content of the newsletter and the application-, shipping- and the statistical evaluation process, as well as about your right of objection. By subscribing to the mailing-list, you agree to receive the newsletter and to the described processes.

Content: We send newsletters, emails and other electronic notifications with promotional informations (hereafter reffered to as “newsletter”) only with the agreement of the recipients or a legal permission. If the contents are specifically outlined within the registration to the newsletter, they are relevant for the agreement of the users. Apart from that, the newsletter contents tips, inspirations and informations about topics from the fields of style, fashion, self-care, self-image, positive living as well as about my business (like references to YouTube-videos, blog posts, presentations or workshops, my services and online presence).

Double-Opt-In and logging: The registration to the newsletter occurs through a so-called double-opt-in process. This means, after subscribing you get an email, in which you will be asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is needed, so that nobody can subscribe with another person’s email-address.

The registrations to the newsletter are logged, to be able to verify the registration process according to the legal requirements. To this belongs the  storing of the subscription- and confirmation-date as well as the IP-address. Changes of the data, which it stored at MailChimp are also recorded.

Dispatch service „MailChimp“: The shipment of the newsletter takes place with „MailChimp“, a newsletter shipment service from US-provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The email-adresses of our mailing-list and newsletter subscriber, as well as their other data, as described in this references, are stored in the USA on the MailChimp servers. MailChimp uses this informations for the shipping and the evaluation of the newsletters on our account. In addition, MailChimp can use this data (according to their own information) for the optimization and improvement of their own services, like the thechnical optimization of the shipping and the presentation of the newsletter, or for economical purposes, to determine from which countries the recepients are coming. MailChimp does not use the data of our subscribers to send mails themselves or to give them to third parties.

We trust in the reliablility and the IT- and data-security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified for the US-EU-data protection agreement „Privacy Shield“  and is therefore obliged to keep the conditions of the EU-data protection requrements. In addition, we have concluded a data-processing-agreement with MailChimp. This is a contract, in which MailChimp engages in protecting the data of our users, processing the data on our account according to the data protection regulations and especially to not give away the data of our users to thid parties. You can read MailChimps privacy policy here.

Login data: To subscribe to the mailing list and newsletter your email-address and first name are sufficient. These informations are just used for the personalization of the newsletter.

Optional, we ask you to indicate your last name, your birth date and your interests. We use this information only to customize the content of the newsletter to the interests of our recipients.

Statistical evaluation and analysis: The newsletters contain a so-called „web-beacon“, that is a pixelsized file, which is accessed by the MailChimp server, while opening the newsletter. Within accessing, technical data is collectes, like informations about your browser and system, as well as your I-address at the time of accessing. These infotmations are used for the technical improvement of the services on the basis of the technical data or of the target groups and their reading behaviour on the basis of their location (with help of the IP-addresses) and their access times.

Part of the statistical evaluation is also the assesment if the newsletters are opend, when they are opend and which links are clicked. These informations can be associated to the newsletter recipients for technical reasons. But it is certainly not our attempt, nor the attempt of MailChimp to monitor individual users. The evaluations serve only as a basis to recognize the reading behaviour of our subscribers and to customize our content to them or to send different content, according to the interests of our users.

Online-call and data-management: In some cases we forward our newsletter recipients to the webpages of MailChimp. For example, our newsletters contain a link to enable the subscribers to view the newsletter online (e.g. in case there are display errors in the email-programm). Furthermore, the subscribers can correct their data later on, like their email-address, for example. Ferner können Newsletterempfänger ihre Daten, wie z.B. die E-Mailadresse nachträglich korrigieren. Also, MailChimps privacy policy is just available on their website.

In this context, we want to point out, that MailChimp uses cookies and therefore personal data can be processed by MailChimp, their partners and their service providers (e.g. Google Analytics). This data collection is beyond our controll. You can find further information in MailChimp’s privacy policy. We also want to inform you about the right of objection for data collection for advertising purposes on the websites of http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/ (for the European area).

Cancellation/Withdrawal: You can unsubscribe from our mailing list and newsletter at any time, meaning cancel your permissions. Thereby expire simultanously also your permissions to the shipping of the newsletter via MailChimp and to the statistical evaluation. A seperate withdrawal of the shipping via MailChimp or of the statistical evaluation is unfortunately not possible.

You will find a link for unsubscribing from the mailing list in the end of each newsletter.

The use of the dispatch service provider MailChimp, implementation of statistical evaluation and analysis, as well as the recording of the registration process are made on the basis of our legitimate interests, in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO/gdpr. Our interest is focused on the usage of a user-friendly and secure newsletter/mailing-list-system, that serves our business interests as well as fits the expectations of the users.
